Just wondering what is the longest anyone here has had to wait for a transaction on their credit card to be processed ? I bought stuff online about 2 months ago and the payment still hasn't gone through(it was done via HSBC).I have the print out from the HSBC website concerning my payment and an email from the retailer saying payment order had been accepted.Any ideas as to why it is taking so long and what I should do  ?? Thanks.

    Have you received your stuff?

There are often long delays in it appearing. I have rang the CC company before and the girl said she could see the transaction but it was just not appearing online yet, I think she might even have said something like "I shouldn't be telling you this, but it should be going through in a few days", probably covering herself or something.

No not yet.I have bought stuff online plenty of times before but made the payment through paypal and it never took so long.

It may be that the retailer will not fully process the card payment until the goods are ready to ship. I'd suggest contacting the retailer directly to query why your order has not shipped yet.
