Hi, I had a quick trawl down through this forum, but I couldn’t find any recommendations for shop bought coffee, so apologies if it has been asked before, but here goes…I’ve just moved back to Ireland from Australia and I’m unsure what coffee to buy. I drink espresso, and I’ve tried a few blends from the supermarket but they are quite weak and not very flavoursome. I use a moka pot at home… what do people recommend?

I use a Moka pot too. I find Lavazza espresso go well in the Moka pot, mainly because they specifically state that the grind is suitable for the Moka pot, being Italian and all :)

I also just buy any sort of coffee and pop it into the moka pot, seems to be fine. I keep trying different ones just for fun.

As above, lavazza and also illy seem to both work well for me.:)

    Hard to beat moka coffee.
