Wireless Connection problems with laptop

    Hey All,

having trouble connecting to wireless internet with my laptop.

Basically, my laptop wouldn't start anymore (4years old!), so I got the harddrive wiped and windows xp reinstalled. Ever since, when I enter in a WPA code, in the Wireless network connection window, it just keeps saying "Acquiring network address", and below this, "This network requires a network key. You are currently connected to this network. To disconnect from this network, click Disconnect below."

Any ideas as to how to go about fixing this? As, you can probably tell I am far from an expert on these issues, as I havent a clue where to go from here!

Any help or pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!
