Looking for a New Phone

Hey Guys,

I'm in bad need of a new phone. I'm looking into getting a HTC, but i don't wanna pay a ridiculous price. nothin' over €250. it's only an intermediate phone until the desire Z comes out. does anyone know where i can get one unlocked? i don't trust eBay with that kind of money, especially with mobile phones.

I have an N96 and love it but it's proving annoying from a hardware point of view.

I liked the HTC Smart but I'm looking for a phone with Wi-Fi. Love the HD2 but it's way too overpriced.

Any ideas??

So you only need one until the Z comes out ?, would you not just buy a crappy phone like one just for calls and texts , the Z will be out in a few weeks, hardly wasting 250 euro on a phone you'll use for a few weeks

Well i dont know if il like using a HTC. I'm told there good, but only used one once in a demo in o2. I wanna use one because it will be after January or February before i get the Desire Z. I'm broke and xmas should help that problem!

Have to say that I'm delighted with it. Obviously the main problem is that you would have to get it shipped to someone in the UK and then sent over here. Managed to unlock it for $3 and have been really impressed with it.

Cool il look into it. It's paid by credit card, seeing as it says no Pay-Pal.

It's from Orange in the UK (hence the reason that you will need a UK address as they won't ship here).

How do i buy it unlocked? when i go to buy it from orange it asks me to pick text packages and other stuff? how do i buy it unlocked? like it says in the link u sent me???

Basically you have to unlock it yourself. So you buy a standard phone off Orange (Think I went for the dolphin package) and unlock it. Really simple though.

Perfect.Thanks for clearing that up for me,. I've never bought a phone online not a mind from another country. Was just a little unsure but the process.
