Aer Lingus Regional flights are operated by Aer Arann. Beware - these are tiny planes and your luggage allowance (including that for carry-on) is lower.

Allowance depends on route. Check ticket carefully.

..and to answer the original question, the flights are operated by Aer Arann for Aer Lingus. Aer Lingus policies apply - so yes on the ID front.

When oyu in the seat of the plane you wont notice the difference + the planes arent tiny ! The cabin bag must have smaller dimentions as the over head compartments are smaller but i bring the same carry on bag on Aer Arann as i do on Aer Lingus /Ryanair and i didnt fit in the over head so the crew throught it in an empty row!! You could also put it under your seat!! It shouldnt be a big issue :D Enjoy your flight ;)
