Help with MyWi

    I downloaded MyWi 4.0 for iPhone 4 on trial about a month ago. Used it for a few days but didn't buy it at the time. Bought it this morning and none of my devices can find the network. What's strange though is that they all find the original network name I had set up when I was using it on trial a month ago! Obviously they are not connecting though. I have rebooted the phone, and reinstalled MyWi a couple of times, but no good. Happened to anyone, and know how to fix?! Thanks

    On the iPad there's a "forget this network" option. See if there's something similar. Or rename your network back go the original name and see if that works.

    I had tried renaming it back to the original network name but no good. I'm trying to connect via laptop at the moment, I just removed the old network name from the laptop (and renamed the MyWi network name to something new) but still not detecting it. Sounds like the phone though? As it seems to somehow have been still broadcasting the old network?

    It's very odd. It has to be something simple. Have you tried advanced settings? If you're near anyone with a device get them to search and see if the old network name comes up. Also no harm turning the phone off and back on. Miwi needs to reboot from time to time, no idea why.

    Doh! Yeah advanced settings was the job, changed the wifi channel and it picked it up. Staring me straight in the face! Thanks for your help.
