    VFC HK416 - without a doubt.

I have one of the first gen VFC 416 with the full HK trades - it's a legend of an aeg.

VFC, in my humble opinion, are (together with G&P) the nicest off the shelf aegs. And, like G&P, their externals are as good as the internals.
The only issue with the VFC 416 is with trades - due to trademark issues VFC had to abandon putting the correct trades on the body.
However, there is some blurb online about a HK authorised licensed version of the 416, OEM'd by VFC for Umarex ....
Here's an AirsoftGI review of the aeg:

I'm sure that if you contact any of the airsoft stores that stock VFC stuff here (Quality Airsoft Supplies in Carlow or Airsofteire in Dundalk) they could get one in for you. Also, I know that Eirsoft had a line on Umarex stock so perhaps drop Shiva a line on the Eirsoft thread in the retailers section.

Now be advised - for most VFC aegs you're talking about it being around the 400 mark. But you do get your money's worth.

Just to add to Kevin's post. The VFC is a very nice piece of kit but so is the TopTech T4-18 which is what I have. OK, if you want to be pedantic it's not officially a HK416 but that's all down to the trademark issues Kevin pointed out, it is based on a hk416 and that's good enough for me! There are two versions, standard & short/CQB, but both exhibit typical TopTech/G&G quality.

I know you said you were looking for an AEG but the WE HK416 is an absolute beauty and definitely worth considering.

i was looking at the we 416 on e-hobbyairsoft and it was 260 usd which i think is v.good vfm

im not too bothered about trades but they would look good but if there is a good gun for a good price and has no trades thats not a problem

thanks for that video was very helpful
