    Just wondering do any societies do this, a friend told me that one of the societies get's like 20% off from the laptop shop but not sure if that's true, can anyone confirm?

    In general, you get 10% off Apple laptops.

    Try on the Apple Education store online.... Don't get me wrong but I think I got 14 pect discount on that. Funny thing that... We get a better discount then UCD!

    Over heard talk of this in LG12. Supposedly the Trinity-Apple partnership store never works, but one can just use the UCD one and just specify TCD when actually ordering.

    It worked for me when I bought my MBP but that was during the summer so...

    Back in Transition Year I got my MacBook with the education discount. I'm in 6th year now. Anyone can use that it seems :D

    I know that when I was researching the topic it said that you would be asked for your student ID and email but when I ordered online I wasn't asked.
    I think it is only if you order by phone that you get asked....:)
