iPhone4 dropping 3G on the 3 network for me.

    Hi all first time to post here in the Tech section.

    OK so I bought a iPhone4 on Monday from Carphone WH and I'm on the 3 Network. It updated the software to v4.1 on the first connection to the PC.
    My problem is that it drops the 3G connection a lot, and is most of the time on just the 3 signal. Can't get the 3G signal a lot of the time.
    I got the iPhone4 because of all the features that it has and for the Internet connection and for E-mail and surfing and the like. Great gadget but for what I got it for it sucks.

    I'm living on the edge of Kilkenny City. Travel to Clonmel each day - signal is not much better there.

    Was back to Carphone WH yesterday and again today to try to sort it out but no joy, not for the want of them trying fair play to them. So I just got the call from Carphone WH to say I can return it all and I'll do that tomorrow.

    But what to do now as I want the iPhone4 but need it to perform it's tricks as well? Should I try it on another network???? Or give it up as a bad job??
