    Could anyone give advice for someone going to New Orleans for a year. have promise of a job but not a student or college. graduate. male 24yrs. Have an aunt living in the us who is a citizen?? what are the options.??

    I may have been misleading with mentioning the j1 visa. is there any other visa one can get? not a student or graduate.

    Unfortunately for you there is no visa option for those without a degree. The 2012 diversity visa lottery is open at the moment, it's probably your best chance of going to the US.
