wireless problem

    recently got an alienware mx17 and its not connecting to my wireless router, tried using windows and broadcom to manage but will not connect. i am at my wits end!! Please help

    Try changing the channel that the router broadcasts on.

    Can you connect when security is disabled (Dont forget to turn it on again).

    Can you connect to other networks.

    I disabled the security and it will still not connect, it can see the router but when you connect it says "unable to connect"
