    Who is A Glór Gospel?
A Glór (meaning "her voice" in Irish) Gospel is a small, all female gospel and inspirational choir. Created originally in October 2005 as the Fountain Gospel Choir, A Glór was renamed in April 2008 to better epitomize our music and styles. After struggling to find male singers, we decided that we didn't need men to sound fabulous!

    Membership
Membership is open to any woman who is willing to commit to rehearsals and performances. You do not need to have experience, but need to be willing to learn, to practice and to have a positive attitude. When you join us, you will be asked to sing (with just the director present if you wish) a quick song so that the director can hear your voice and know best where to place you. We are happy to have guest male singers when available.

    Rehearsals
A Glór rehearses every Sunday afternoon from 3:30-5:30pm at St. Andrew's Church on Westland Row, Dublin 2, right next to the Pearse DART Station. We rehearse in the choir room around to the back of the church, which is where to enter the building.

    Monthly Performances
A Glór performs for mass at St. Andrew's the last Saturday of every month at 7pm. The choir is expected to arrive by 6:15 for practice. We DO rehearse the Sunday after mass.

    Music
We sing mostly acapella music, and occasionnaly have a few local musicians who join us or will sing with musical tracks. The majority of our music is gospel, spiritual and inspirational.
