Aritech cs350 Battery Change

    i've just changed the battery in my Alarm panel as the original one has gone dead. However since i have put in the new one there is nothing displayed in the keypad.
    When i reattach the sounder wire (that i took out when the battery went dead as the alarm was blaring in the house) i cannot stop the noise as a result of the keypad not working.

    Anyone got any ideas for me ?:(
