It will work but not as quiet as the 223 mod

My cousin had a spacer made to widen his barrel to accept wider mod thread diameter.
    Not a big job.

you might give one of the riflesmiths a call for that one.....14x1 might just scape it in for a cz barrel......
The 30 cal can will do a good job on a 223...i know a few lads that swap 30 cal cans for there 223 and there deer rifle..

Those Delta Mods make some difference on a .243
I was out yesterday using one and it makes it sound like a .22 with supersonics and no mod.
My ears would usually ring but not with the mod.

I use my 30cal mod on both the Sako 308 and CZ varmint 223. It is as quite as I would need it to be on both guns, on the 223 it's like a 22lr HV round without a mod.
    Saves my ears anyway.

Im amazed it hasnt been snapped up yet...
    Good price....very good mod...

I guess its the thread size....14x1 is standard sake factory thread for a light barrel.... I think:rolleyes:

It is more or less standard in the Nordic countries, here it seems to be 1/2"UNF over 6mm should use 14mm if the barrel can take the thread
I must say I was very impressed with the noise reduction for the size of the mod. Compared with the old designs like the T8 and so on these are tiny.
