Anyone else experience this issue with the Irish Rail website ...?

I have noticed that consistently (and I do mean every one of the nearly ten times I've used it to book tickets in the last 3 months) when I go to buy tickets on the website - so I've gone to the bother of putting in destination, times, payment details, signing in etc. and clicked pay - that the transaction can't be processed.

I then have to do the entire thing all over again, and it always works the second time around. Has anyone else experienced this? Its very frustrating and I imagine it is one of 2 things:

    1) My laptop acting up for some bizarre reason.
    2) They want people to just give up and just pay a premium at the station.

    Thoughts?

there may be a time limit on completing the transaction which you exceed the first time and you would then be a little faster the 2nd time having done it all once already?
