    Hi everyone,

I'm currently learning how to drive. I am having 1 lesson a week. 3 down many more to go! Does anyone know what exactly the story is with the new regulations? I have heard so many things like you have to have 40 lessons etc.. I can't find any info online..

    Thanks!!

A lot of the talk recently is about what WILL be happening to learners and the test in the future. As you hold your learner permit at the moment the new rules (such as compulsory lessons) will not affect you. The only newish restriction on you sitting the test is that you will have to hold your licence for six months before you can SIT your test. Also, any driving you do should be accompanied by a full licence holder.
