TaylorMade R9 Supertri.Help Settings ?

I recently bought a new R9 Supertri driver which was set in the Neutral position. I am considered a straight driver ( down the middle) but not a long hitter I think because I have a slow swing speed ..around 83/85. I shifted the shaft over to the setting marked( R) thinking this would help me to draw the ball for more distance but I seem to be leaking my drives to the right...slice. Can someone help. Maybe this driver is in the wrong hands ?? My h/c came down from 16 to 12 since June.
