    what value is on it at the minute? earlier in the year had a lad say he would take it away for free:D had a lad this week giving us 75 euro a tonne and he takes it away , another lad is giving 110 a tonne delivered in - oh has a lorry and tipping trailer so could get him to deliver , what prices did any one else hear

    heard its back up..for good clean scrap metal..
    was poor in earlier part of year..unsure what its going at prob near a €100 a ton collected..no?

    120 per ton delivered, heavy steel about 200/tonne delivered. large loads (about 20t) can make the same money collected.

    what do you mean by "clean" scrap metal? as we have some old galvanise dipped sheets which we want to get rid off but there would also be some rusty bits of steel lying aroung the place also. Also how would you go about getting someone to collect scrap? look in the golden pages?

    duleek is your best chance in the industrial estate .. dont know the name but they are giving 110 a tonne .... tinnellys also up north .. i in louth and this guy is giving us 70 euro a tonne for all types ... he collects and takes away
