    Hi, just wondering if anyone out there has any words of advice. My husband and I met while he was in America -- He is Irish and and I'm an American - we have just moved to Ireland and I'm here on the 90 day visa waiver. I would like to establish residency and get a working permit - anyone gone thru the process?

    You need to go to your local Garda Immigration Office and register, you should then be issued with a Stamp 4, when you get that you can apply for a PPS Number make sure you husband is with you and bring all relevant paper work including Passports, Marriage Cert.

    You don't need a Work permit just register and get your stamp 4.
