Canadian Dollars - where's the best place to buy?

I went a wander around the various banks in town today looking at rates for Canadian dollars. The Internet is positively pants in this regard. I've spent at least an hour pan-handling through the septic tank of knowledge with very little to show for it. So it looks like I'll be off on a foot-slog, gumshoe style research.

In an effort to best inform the young immigrants of our fair nation (and I'm sure there are a few!) here follows an in-progress list of the best places to go for Canadian Dollars. Rates are currently €1 buys $1.40. (October 2010)

I know all too well how the banks make a tidy margin on forex. Let's see if we can't get me off the Island without a last gouge goodbye. Any other means of getting the dollars in are welcomed.

    NIB - €1 buys you $1.37
Bank of Ireland - no info yet
    AIB - no info yet
Ulster Bank - no info yet
Permanent TSB - no info yet
