Sorry if its been asked, but does anyone know any places having a sale on GHD's? I know a few Peter Marks salons that were doing them about twenty euro cheaper a while back, but as far as I know they're all full price at the moment ... ?

the normal (IV styler i think) ones are 120 still afaik in peter marks. could be wrong though!

but if you find a good offer online you can copy and paste the website into the web checker thing on the ghd website to check they're legit!

This is ever so slightly cheaper when you convert to euro, but that's quite a good deal in Peter Marks for a non-online store.

Would you have to strictly stick to the idea of a GHD?

Kodo does the job of a GHD with a fraction of the price tag. I did have an old remmington that used to do the job of a ghd but I never found another one that did the job well after I accidentally stuck it to a bit of plastic!

You could try some of the knockoff GHD sites? I have a GHD knockoff that does the job just as well at it's been about 2 years since I bought it! :)

I would not trust these GHDs. They have been known to catch on fire.

I agree my sister bought ones for 100 quid and had them a while and one day they over heated and went on fire  Since then I wouldn't bother trying to get them on the cheap not really worth it.

The CHI flat iron is a very good alternative to the GHD they both look pretty much the same. The CHI is brilliant for curling your hair it's not that expensive either :D

Ive had a kodo for years (damn thing refuses to break). I find it to leave my hair looking more frazzled than a GHD does. Finally changed over during the summer and I much prefer the GHD.

I think they're selling the coloured ones for the same price as the regular one in the hair salon in the Swan Centre in Rathmines!
I got mine for €120 or €100 I think in Peter Marks 2 weeks ago, whenever they had the €20 off. I only saw the one in Rathmines afterwards :(

Peter Marks in Stephens Green have them for 120 at the minute!

lucky you! so jealous, i had a ghd til it broke and then i spent a fortune buying cheap ones that just would not tame my hair (and i have thin almost straight hair!) so i saved up to buy my beloved ghd again!
