Starting an Online Business, Outsourcing, Finding a Niche, etc

    Hi all,

Just looking for some tips and advice on starting an online business from people with experience or, from people who, like me, are just staring out.

I'm pretty determined to start some sort of online business and my initial plan is to sell t-shirts with funny/clever slogans and designs targeted at people with niche interests. I plan to, eventually, outsource the production, shipping and the final design of the t-shirt.

The basic model I want to follow is, find a niche market, create a product, test it, if successful sell it online and outsource as much of the process as possible/necessary.

Does any one here have experience with this kind of business model or is any one considering starting a business based on this model?
