Scott Cohen has reportedly joined the new USA pilot Necessary Roughness.
The show stars Callie Thorne as a divorced woman called Danielle who becomes the therapist for a professional football team.
After doing well, Danielle starts receiving offers of work from a wide range of people including musicians and politicians.
Deadline claims that Cohen has now joined the cast as a "fixer" for a football franchise who works alongside Danielle.

Marc Blucas has joined the cast of new USA Network drama pilot Necessary Roughness.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the actor will play a trainer for a professional football team.
The show, which is based on a true story, focuses on a therapist who starts working for a professional football team.
After she excels at the job, she starts receiving offers of work from musicians, athletes, politicians and other famous people.
Blucas's character will apparently become romantically involved with Thorne's therapist.

After playing supporting and recurring characters for so long Callie Thorne is finally getting her own show and about time she is such an underrated actress

Craig Bierko has been cast in the USA Network pilot Necessary Roughness.
The project stars Callie Thorne as a psychologist who becomes the therapist for a professional football team. Bierko, 46, will play her estranged husband, Ray.
The actor joins Mehcad Brooks, Marc Blucas, Scott Cohen, Concetta Tomei and Amanda Detmer.

Jason Gedrick has signed up for a role in Necessary Roughness.
The actor will appear in three episodes of the USA drama beginning on August 17, TV Line reports.
He will play Dr. J. D. Aldridge, a grad school professor who previously taught Dani (Callie Thorne).
Aldridge is expected to be a love interest for Dani but will clash with Matt (Marc Blucas).
"Jason and I get to have our 'chest-out' moments together," Blucas said. "We've actually worked together before, so it's been fun on set."
Yesterday, reports suggested that Necessary Roughness is close to being renewed for a second season as it has "exceeded all expectations".

Second season likely, that's good news

This show is a bit different to what's out there
And with new clients and players, you can have a new story every week while working on the main characters.

The pilot was still the strongest episode but I'm sticking with this for Season one
