    I know he mentions it in the alt text but how the fúck is "happy farm" bigger than farmville, all I ever hear is people sh1te on about farmville but this is the first time I've heard of happy farm.

    How the **** is sms so big when text messages are tiny. One photo album on facebook would have the same amount of data as thousands of text messages yet sms is shown as being twich as large as all the internet sites represented combined??

    My housemate probably accounts for a large amount of that. Trying to watch The Wire and her text tone is going off every 45 seconds.

    1) its not an actual map

    2) its a map of usage of influence, rather than actual data size.

    I only just realised now that the 4chan island looks like a penis. And /b/ is a load of bollocks.

    There are 34 discussion sites on that map. And boards.ie is one of them. That's pretty awesome.

    Not that surprising - by every standard of measurement it's a very large forum indeed.

    Interestingly it's one of the few forums that hasn't totally shrivelled up in the wake of the advent of social networking - I personally attribute it to the extremely high signal-to-noise ratio of posts engendered by the now-traditional style of utterly zealous moderation.
