I was uninstalling an old program I dont use anymore when I noticed all the following in the programs list (i've attached a snapshot)

question is do I need all of these SQL programs some seem to be replicated and what would be the effects if i uninstall them.

a lot of the sql components are quite common for lots of microsoft et. al. applications recently (in the last few years) that you wouldn't think needed them. You can uninstall them, but it might break Windows Live Photo or something else you're using. Either way, if anything did break you could just reinstall it. Unless i was severly stuck for space, i'd ignore them, they're not doing any harm.

Best action is to set all of these services to Manual startup in "Services" and shut them down, then see if you get any error messages over the next few weeks
