Malfunctioning Hazards

I had to put on my hazard lights last night and when i went to turn them off they wouldn't turn off. My passenger had to keep the button pressed in to keep them off while i drove home. When we got home he took out the fuse but the fuse for the hazards is the same for the indicators so had to put it back in. Seems to be the button is not catching for the off position. Anyone know is it a big job to fix and would it be dear? It's a 2001 Clio, 1.2 sport. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the hazard switch is gone, they wear out over time. You may notice issues with the timing of ur indicators being off also. Should be about a €25 part, fixed mine on a Golf, easy diy job on that.

Cheers for that. I have noticed that about the indicators too. €25 is not gonna break the bank, i'll get it sorted. Thanks again. :)
