Ported number from Meteor to 3 - no 3G!

    My wife moved from Meteor to 3 for an iPhone 3GS two weeks and a bit ago and while it worked for the first few days, now she can't get any 3G coverage on it.

    I have a 3GS on 3 as well and get 3G coverage pretty much everywhere but when I say my wife has no 3G, I mean zilch, five bars but not even GPRS. So of course, no internet on it unless it's wi-fi.

    3 have been useless to moderately-helpful with this. They thought it was her SIM but she's on her 3rd one and no luck. If I put in my SIM, it gets 3G so I don't think the phone is faulty. To me, it's like her account hasn't been activated for 3G (her SIM makes my phone become blind to 3G).

    Has anyone any experience of this problem and what might fix it? A guy in the 3 Store reckoned this happened before with numbers porting from
    Meteor and seemed to suggest Meter might be holding back on some vital process in order to paint 3's network in a negative light - but then he would say that! Still, it would explain a lot if it's true!!
