Sole Trader Grant Query - Advice needed

    I am a solde trader. I run a content website based which earns me a small income through google ads. The main income from this website comes from books I have published from the content on the website. I am registered as self employed with the Revenue Comommisioners and the website name is the company name and that is registered with the CRO.

    I need to redevelop my website if I want to increase traffic volume, this could cost up to €3000. Is there any type of grant I can apply for. The grants that I have read about require certain criteria such as how many people who employ etc.

    I am the only person in my company, my income is quite low, about €7,000 per year after taxes.

    Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    €3000 to redevelop your site to increase your search volume?

    That doesn't sound right at all...

    I phrased that badly. The updated website will have many new features. Volume traffic is one of my objectives but overall the website will be more advanced.

    The enterprise board won't give you a grant unless your business is export let I'm afraid.
