I have a free-standing wood burning stove which was installed last year. The flue goes through the roof of single story extension and then straight up, supported by steel brackets to second story of existing house. Not sure how it is to be cleaned though it will have to be from the bottom as the roof is a special type of tile that cannot be stood on.
Anyway, can anyone recommend a good, experienced chimney cleaner who will operate on the northside of Dublin? Also, any indication of how much it will cost to get the job done?
    thanks, Seesee

Make sure that your chimney sweeper uses a plastic bristled sweep brush head,as this wont damage or scrape the insides of the metal flue liner/pipe.

Great help, thanks both. Any idea how much a general inspection clean might cost?
