Was planning to have a walk in ballyscanlon today around the lake, and all the trees are being felled, I was disgusted, somewhere with such a scenic view now ruined, anyone know what the story is with it?

I'm not sure, but those type trees are cut when they reach a certain age,and usually get re-planted almost straight away.

The trees are there to be felled, they are farmed conifers, just that harvest time is a bit slower to come round.
