Halloween sweets half price

    Tesco have pretty much everything in jellies half price for Halloween. From small packets of haribo for 70cent, up to giant 1.5Kg tubs for €6.99 down from €14. Their is a haribo one, and a swizzels tub. Cant list all the stuff but their is a huge range. Jelly tots, wine gums, chupa chups, natural confectionery bags........basically anything that has sugar! :p

    Also they have large boxes of jelly babies, I think BOGOF, and then boxes of Fererro Rocher half price. Roughly from €9 to €4.50

    Doesnt it strike anyone else with suspicion seeing as i havn't even seen halloween sweets on display up until a week ago when this offer came out?

    I would say it is simple marketing. First they get you in the store for half price jellies.... then you eat all the Jellies because it is still weeks till Halloween and have to go back and pay full price for more Jellies near Halloween.

    And then of course they will be half price again after halloween :D
