No threat issued here, just the americans stirring trouble again.

The threat is constantly under review by AGS, DF and other elements that feed in the states security services as well as external agencies providing us with intelligence.

In regards to aviation, the National Civil Aviation Security Commitee of the Department of Transport which comprises of a number members from several organisation such as Goverment departments, AGS, DF, Airlines, Regional Airports, Airport Police, IALPA report and update on security issues and threats regarding civil aviation in Ireland.

I believe there is a constant threat to Ireland to due political position and being a western state but I think unless a credible threat emerges you wont see much change till then.

Thanks AP, however we could be viewed as a soft target due to our percieved lack of security.

perceived is key part of your post.

Ireland's image may not be of gun totting Police officer or Army check points but trust me it's there and constantly being reviewed.

Just cause its not in public doesnt mean its not there.

Well if the recent video of the guy driving a truck at the Dáil is anything to by, we're well secure. Gardaí by the dozen out of the woodwork in literally seconds (although all uniformed and unarmed).

More false flaggery and hot air scare mongering from the powers that be.

There are several threads on this subject in the CT forum. :p
