okay, so, i have absolutely terrible writing, and if i am being quite modest, i have receivec praise and all that for being 'brainy' and intelligent, but everytime someone looks at anything i've written by hand, they're disgusted.
i really cant help this, lol.
i feel that because i cant actually improve my writing, i might lose marks (the teachers say i will anyways, lol)
what i want to know is, is there any way i can avoid doing as much handwriting as possible? eg. do it on a computer or get someone to write etc

tl;dr: i need to do my jc on the computer or i will lose a lot of marks.

Well... there is one thing I know will work... Break your hand (or damage it enough that you cannot write). You'll then have to do the tests via a tape recorder, with an examiner watching you.

Frankly, I'd learn how to not write the way you do and learn to do it either neater or just do not do handwriting, do unattached writing. You don't get marks for neatness, you do get them taken away for difficulty in understanding it. If it's a scrawled mess, you will be docked marks, though it's somewhat low.

It is possible that you won't have to write for Junior Cert. I think you have to get a doctor's cert, you have to get something anyway, to prove you can't write properly. Then you will either do your Junior Cert on a laptop, or get a scribe.

I'd love to do my Junior Cert on a laptop as it would be much quicker doing everything, and you wouldn't get sore hands.

If you need a scribe or computer, your special needs teacher will apply to the reasonable accommodations section and you will be given one.

If you want to improve your handwriting, get some headline copies and start practising. Unless you have a physical deformity you will be able to improve it.

You have to have some form of disability ie dyspraxia or arthritis to get a computer. Go learn to write better, simple as.
