Might go alright now that I know about it.

What's wrong with the artistic side of things?

Well nothing just not my thing- i appreciate talent in all forms of art but what passes off as art these days anyone can come up with.

I've seen Marcus du Sautoy talk before. His talks tend to be non-technical enough for the general public to enjoy, but with enough content that the average maths graduate will get some benefit too. Interesting guy.

Ah yeh, reminds me of a phrase I heard recently: "What's not art?"

Cool. I've had his book, Music of the Primes on my shelf for about a year. I've so little time to read all these really interesting books!

Seen him speak at a conference earlier this year, he's excellent, recommend this to anyone.

I really enjoyed The Music Of The Primes and I'm heading to the talk with UCD mathsoc.

Looking forward to seeing him speak.
