Hi all, just got I phone 4 a few days ago...absolutely love it. Only complaint I have is the battery isn't great on it, and also don't think the reception is as good...am on the Vodafone network. Anyway my question is this...is it possible to create a new folder for photos and vids etc. I get lots of photos etc in e mails from friends and when you save them they automatically go into camera roll. Is it possible to create a new folder and save them here? Thanks in advance for help.

Very annoying alright. I'm not sure how you can do it - i was looking for a file explorer that you can install on the iphone to do this but can't see one. The only recommendation is ifile which isn't very easy to use. Pity really as there's some very slick explorers for android.

There isn't. The Camera Roll isn't intended for long term storage, its simply where photos go until you sync them back to the computer for organisation.

    Hi

I got this information from another forum in July (I think it might have been o2) and I have managed to get my Camera Roll photo's from 3GS onto Windows 7 laptop & synced back folders for the ones I want to keep onto Photo's App: Good Luck.

Connect your iPhone to your computer's USB port with the USB cable that came with iPhone Packaging

    1. Open My Computer Or Desktop (MAC)
    2. Click your iPhone when its connected
    3. Click your the Drive button
    4. Go to the DCIM folder
    5. Click the folder there and let all your photos load
Now Drag and drop all the photos into a new folder on your desktop and there you go your iPhone photos are now on your computer
