Then make the fight without forcing the winner to fight Macklin. It's a stupid clause, the fight is easy enough to sell as it is, North vs South, brawler vs boxer etc!

Manny Stewart keeps talking about Lee fighting the winner of Williams/Martinez. Maybe that's why Andy Lee doesn't want to be tied to Macklin fight
Get Andy and Duddy in the ring. Lee should win. Then if Andy doesn't get any better fights in 2011, they can make the Lee v Macklin fight then.:)

Macklin is a Frank Warren fighter. Would Warren just hand such a big fight over to RTÉ? I don't think so. Also, i don't think Duddy or Lee have any interest in fighting in Ireland again for a while. Peters seems a little bitter about that.

Brian Peters is also Macklins Promoter. He promotes his fights in Ireland. Peters promoted the fight between Macklin v Pintos in Dublin.

He is his manager and does promote his irish fights but warren is his main promoter.
TBH Lee and duddy shouldnt even be on macks radar. They wont help his world title ambitions as he is pretty much in the picture and they are too dangerous to be gimme fights. A better shout would be have the lads square off in madison square with the winner fighting macklin for a world title in ireland (all going well like)

After that Macklin is a free agent but I would say that he will sign with Fwanky Boy!
