    Hi,

I have 2004 2.2 Diesel Accord and over last 2 weeks or so it has been slow to turn over. It is still turning over but sometimes can take approx 5 - 10 seconds to do so. Just put a new battery in it 8 months ago and problem doesn't seem to be as bad in the mornings which you would think if it was the battery it would be worst in the morning. Also cant here any clicking sound so not sure wheter it is the starter or not. Any Help ??

Think you will need to get it to someone whom has the correct diagnostic equipment to check rail pressure on cranking...battery voltage drops etc
usally after replaceing a battery the starter would be the next port of call.

when starting any common rail diesel the ecu needs to see the correct rail pressure...battery voltage...correct injector voltage..crankshaft sensor..etc

Most diesels that don't tend to start when hot usually indicates a fuel pressure problem as warm diesel is less viscious than cold diesel.

Was the fuel filter replaced lately...?? if not change it and check for metal filings in the filter...if there are metal filings present then it looks like your hp pump is breaking up.... But thats the Worst Case Scenario...:)
    Best of luck with it....;)
    Ron.
