Clare people abroad

    The Clare People Newspaper is looking to speak to anyone who have recently left Clare to start a new life in another country. The interviews will form part of a new feature on Clare people living abroad. Since the beginning of the recession in 2008 it is believed that as many as 10,000 people may have been force to leave Clare in search of work and a new future abroad. If you know of anyone who might fit this bill please e-mail ahamilton@clarepeople.ie.

    BOC has experience of Oz,He was definitely there in 09,as he missed the Waterford crystal tournament and Hurling league only returning for the championship.Cant recall whether he was there last winter...

    Thanks to everyone who got in contact. We are still looking for more Clare People who have moved abroad in the past few year so please do pass this on anyone who might be interested and ask them to contact ahamilton@clarepeople.ie That's bad news about BOC - he will be badly missed.
