Just listened to latest episode of MarathonTalk last night. For those who don't listen to this Podcast, it is highly recommended. Can be downloaded here, and a new one is out every Wednesday full of marathon news, interviews and training/racing tips. The latest episode has part one of a great interview with Bruce Fordyce.

They talked about Chicago marathon and how Ryan Hall has dramatically withdrawn (organisers can't be best pleased about this), and also how at the age of 53, the 1984 Olympic marathon champ, Joan Benoit Samuelson, is trying to qualify for the 2012 Olympic marathon trials. Will be a great story to follow. There's hope for us all.

    More details here.

Steve Way, my new hero. 2:35 marathon on a P&D 24 week program. Loving the podcasts (and Bruce's ballroom dancing).

Have started listening to this the last couple of days too so working my way thru the archives - have been looking for a podcast like this for ages so thanks for the heads up OP.

Used to listen to 'Pheddipedations' (with the American guy who does a phenomenal amount of training but always make a pig's ear of it on race day as he tries to go for sub-4hr marathon) but stopped listening as his ramblings and religious views started getting a bit OTT.
