We have seen the blackpool banker possibly go a cropper (still early days) How about Wolves 11-10 to be relegated 9-2 to finish bottom sounds pretty good to me:P

I still think blackpool will go down

its a fair long season and they have a small squad, it will catch up with them soon enough

I like blackpool and hope they stay up thou

I really want Blackpool to stay up because i like their spirit and fight. They never give up and they know they aren't great at the back and don't pretend they are by trying to play defensive. They just attack and attack and they are quite dangerous at it. I think they can just escape the drop zone.

Wolves do look like they could go down though. But with this league being highly unpredictable at the moment i wouldn't be parting any cash on a relegation bet just yet.

Alrighty I'm actually in this thread because of the other Wanderers! You might call me crazy, but now that Bolton up to 5th you can get them at 16/1 to go down. Worth €20 I reckon (PP site is offline until 6.30am this morning but I'm going by oddschecker and will place later today)

Just taken a quick look over the table and the squad. They may be in 5th, but they're only 6 points off Birmingham in the relegation zone. I think this is the longest you'll get them this year as I can't see them staying in the top half.

Add to that all the talk of the £90m+ debt and possible forced sales of Elmander and Cahill and this looks more attractive.

You look at Newcastle who are 8/1 to go down and I think the value on Bolton is obvious. Newcastle will finish above them IMO. I'm aware that there's plenty of worse teams and I think Wigan, West Ham and Blackpool are most likely (think Wolves have been unlucky to have dropped so many points), but a team like Bolton with huge debt and 6pts off relegation at 16/1 is too attractive to pass up.

Betting €20 for value, laugh at me in May.
