One of my pedals are loose on the brink of falling off. Where can i get the spanner to fix this? And do they cost much.
    thanks

Depends. You need either a 15mm pedal spanner (on the outside of the crank) or an allen key (on the inside).

id say youd have more of a chance of getting it in a bike shop than on here

Possibly left hand crank loose? Pedals are wither on or off. If they are loose they'll rip the thread out of crank in no time.

If the crank is loose you'll need an allen key or a socket depending on the type of fixture. If it's been loose for a while chances are it knackered and will need to be replaced.

Either way you LBS should be able to sort it out quickly.

If it's really so bad then you might be able to tighten it up with your fingers, at least to get you to the LBS.

Remember, the left-hand pedal is reverse threaded.

I did infact tighten it with my fingers. It was squueaking for a few days and i only felt it go loose last night. The spanner should do the job. Only happened since halfords did their 6 week check. Gears slipping as well.
