R.I.P Sir Norman Wisdom

05-10-2010 2:53am#1sir Norman Wisdom has died this morning at his nursing home after a series of strokes over the last six months. A true comedy giant and professional and for me one of the last greats in British cinema will be sadly missed.
What was already a sad day for me has just got a little worse . Time to watch some of the films and here again " Mr Grimsdale!"

Watching Norman Wisdom films like 'A Stitch In Time' was a big part of my childhood. I used to watch them with my Dad and would be in stitches (forgive the pun) laughing. Terrific memories. He brought great warmth and charm to a genre that in my opinion he was a master at.
