Does anyone have experience with them. How do they operate? A client of mine has asked me to investigate them. He is from outside Ireland but is in the EU. I've read a bit on the financial regulator site but can someone give me an "idiots guide?"

A client of mine has asked me to investigate them. He is from outside Ireland but is in the EU.

I've read a bit on the financial regulator site but can someone give me an "idiots guide?"

Assuming that your client is European, he should know them as a SICAV...
