I am in the very early stages of looking into migration to Oz.

I have been looking at the general skilled visa and I seem to have a slight problem. (Skilled - Independent (Migrant) visa (subclass 175) )

As this would be my first application for this visa and having never been to Australia, I would imagine that my skills category would fall into schedule 3 of the Skilled Occupation List.

I have a degree in Computer Science, 8 years experience but there is only 5 IT positions on this list and neither applies to my current job title.

I could clasify myself within a number of roles, systems admin, network manager, network security etc.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
