Clueless about TV tuner cards..

    Hi Guys,

    I'm putting together a SageTV build and I just can't decide on what TV tuner card to buy and how many I need.

    Basically. I'll have a SageTV server with two clients (Sage STB) and possibly a third in the future. I'd like each client to be able to watch whatever they want whenever i.e. all simultaneously.

    So my next question is how many cards do I need or that? Can some cards send DVB-T to one client and DVB-S to another client from the one card?

    I'm currently looking at the HVR-4400 because it seems to have everything. I just don't like the idea of needing 3 of these? My planned motherboard only has 2 PCI-EX slots.

    Also, what are the external tuners like? Has any body ever used them? Are they just as reliable as the internals?

    Actually, does anybody have any links to good guides on tuner cards that will answer all these questions for me?
