    Are these things worth going to? I see on my portal page a few are available such as ones on note taking and effective study.

    Worthwhile? Yea or nea?

    These workshops can be handy enough at times especially if its your first year in college. Some of them will be information you probaly know already like how to organise your study plan etc

    The more useful ones will cover career advice such as CV preperation which is well worth attending and their might be some referencing workshops aswell which are very handy when ya get to doing references for essays etc
