Toyota Corolla Verso Diesel Service Intervals

My wifes Verso Diesel has just hit the 75,000km mark recently and the oil change light came on aswell.

Just checking the manual, it says Intemediate services occur every 15,000 and Full Service Every 30,000kms.

Oil change doesn't look like its due until the Full Service from what I can make out in the manual. Would this be right that it wouldn't get an oil change until every 30,000km? As far as I know on all previous services (every 15k) it got an oil change.

My legacy is getting one every 15,000km and most others I know with diesels apart from Audis with long life oil are getting them every 15,000km.

    :confused::confused::confused:

isn't Oil change part of the minor service items, together with filter?

Your car is due a service every 15,000 klms, every service will entail an oil and filter, anything else depends on what is needed which should be decided once previous service history is looked at.

You should be just needing a basic service, the 60000klm service should have included, oil, air and fuel filters.

Tis an oil change you need. If your on a tight budget Atlas tyres are doing a special on oil changes at the minute. I'm a stickler when it comes to oil. Its something that should never be overlooked.

I think the 2.0 d-4d has a set interval indicator as opposed to the 2.2 which monitors oil condition.
YOu can reset the indicator by having the ignition on with engine not running, hold down the odometer button down, then turn ignition off, then back on, keeping the button pressed the whole time.

Just replaced front discs and brake pads on wifes verso. Nearly 90k mls on the clock. All in all it set me back 200 euro. Thought I did very well. I'm gonna service it next month. Anything I should look out for. I notice the power steering is a bit heavy on start up and it looks like a large belt connected to the pump needs changing...

Ok so a little later than I said but managed to service the Verso D4D over the weekend. Bought oil, oil filter, fuel filter and air filter. Cost in total was near 55 euro.

Fuel filter was quite dirty and slightly smaller than the replacement filter. It was a little tricky to do down to it's position but not the worst I've encountered. Just don't forget to prime the new filter (black button on top of fuel filter holder) otherwise car won't start.

Oil and filter was straight forward. Nearly 6 litres of oil to fill which I felt was alot considering the passat 1.9tdi only takes 4.5 max to fill.

Anyway car is driving very well after service and feels alot more responsive.
I feel next job on the agenda may be a new clutch as a whining noise is coming through on disengaging the clutch.

BB, did you buy the parts direect from toyota for that price?
Ours is at 90k km soon so have a few bits to do. Have you got the timing belt done on yours yet?

How easy was the fuel filter to do?
