    Hey all,
Anyone know if a friend borrows my car for their driving test, will the friend have to produce proof of insurance? or does my fully comp policy cover him as I'll obviously be giving him permission to use the car? He's insured on his own car but isn't going to use it on test day as it's been giving him trouble.
I can't remember having to show proof of insurance when I did my test a couple years ago, but would hate for him to fail simply b/c of something like that.

Most insurance policies would have conditions attached to them stating that any drivers using the car must have held a full license for 2 years and be above a certain age. In short read, your policy documents.
