Netpoia router change nat type to 2 for ps3

    Hi
    At the end of my tether here
    i am trying to change the nat type from 3 to nat type2 for multiplayer games on ps3.It is a netopia router series 2247-nwg.i got this router from eircom but have changed to vodafone.Now i have tried a lot of stuff already giveing my ps3 a static ip address,turning the firewall off,disabling media server and pnup
    so if some one knows the answer could you give me a step by step instruction please,or can this router even do a nat type2.

    Your HELP would be awsome

    Ah man don't get me started on that router I have it a few months now and tried EVERYTHING it turns out there's some sort of firmware in it that doesn't allow you to get NAT 2 its a load of balls only solution is a different ADSL router man:(. I got a new router last week and happy days untill my girlfriend tried use her laptop with it and FAIL it was like she was using dial up so bye bye new router hello crappy eircom one again :mad:. Hopefully new router next week!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ya, eircom 2247 not possible get nat2, i had it for a long time before i saw the light and got a linksys, you can get nat1 but its hit and miss,

    If it wont work then buying any other router would fix the job. I have been trying to set up Nat2 on this router for weeks, but finally bought cheap dsl router from linksys, and it took me 2 minutes to set this up.
