Hi! So I'm just looking for a bit of advice here. Me and 3 of my friends are planning on travelling mainland Europe this Summer, two of us want to travel about for the whole three months and the other 2 just for 1 month.

We're not very experienced travellers, like I've been around but never for that length of time before... so we've decided to go interailing to start off with for the first month with the other 2, try get the hang of things and then head off by ourselves for the other 2 months doing the busing, hitchhiking, couchsurfing, camping kinda thing.

So my question is, Is this a good way to go about this and want kinda budget would we be looking at for the 3 months??

    Thank you please :)

Depends. Are you going east or west? Cities or villages? Are you planning to try and cover the whole continent or are you going to spend a while in a few places? Do you eat caviar, or are you happy with noodles? How do you feel about hitch-hiking?

Want to try get around the whole continent.. Not too many big cities I'd rather villages and that but gotta get the masses happy! I'm totally the noodles hitching hiking kinda girl too, I'm hoping to camp for as long as we can during the second leg of our trip! :)
